Published prices. No surprises on the invoice.
Every job is quoted from the drawing, but these are the numbers we start from. Shop rate £58 an hour, minimum charge £145 per order, prices exclude VAT.

Account customers pay 30 days end of month after a credit check. New customers pay 50% with the order and the balance before delivery.
What moves a price
Set-up versus run
Programming, tooling and jigs are paid once per batch. That is why the fortieth part costs a fraction of the first, and why repeat orders get cheaper.
Holes and connections
Bolted or welded, drilled or cut, who supplies the fixings: this is the single biggest swing in a fabrication price.
Finish
Primer is cheap, powder coat is not, and galvanising carries a fixed lot charge. Name the system, or tell us where the steel will live.
Tolerance
Standard work is priced to BS EN ISO 13920 class B. Tighter than that means slower work and more inspection, so tell us early.

What happens if we get it wrong.
On time, or delivery is free
If we miss the delivery date on your order acknowledgement, delivery is on us and we take 5% off the invoice.
12-month workmanship warranty
Any fault in our cutting, forming or welding in the first year is remade or repaired at our cost, including refitting.
5-year powder coat guarantee
On blasted steel with our exterior system: no flaking, blistering or loss of adhesion for five years.
The process
Six stages from order to delivery
Drawing
You send a drawing, a model or a sample. We mark up anything unclear and price it within two working days.
Approval
Fabrication drawings come back to you for signature. Nothing is cut until that signature does.
Cut and form
Laser, saw and brake. Every part carries its mark number and the cast number of the plate it came from.
Weld and inspect
Welded to procedure by coded welders, then checked against the drawing before it leaves the bay.
Finish
Blasted and primed, powder coated in any RAL colour, or galvanised on a fixed three-day turn.
Deliver
On our own wagon, on a booked slot, with the paperwork in the cab and a hiab where there is no crane.
